Senior Category Manager – Frozen & Importation

About the role

The Senior Category Manager will lead the Frozen & Importation category, driving sales, margin and overall commercial performance. You will shape a customer‑focused strategy that balances financial results with innovation and high‑quality in‑store experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute category strategies for Fresh Food to meet sales, margin and profitability targets.
• Analyse market trends, customer behaviour and competitor activity to uncover growth opportunities.
• Plan and manage assortment, pricing and promotions aligned with customer preferences.
• Negotiate supplier agreements and trading terms to optimise cost and margin.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain, Space & Range and Marketing teams for effective implementation.
• Evaluate category performance using sales and profitability reports.
• Lead innovation and product development initiatives.
• Manage and develop long‑term supplier relationships.
• Coach and support category and merchandising team members.

Required profile

• Bachelor degree in Business or Engineering.
• Minimum 7 years experience in an FMCG environment.
• Fluent in Arabic and English.
• Strong negotiation skills.
