Senior Civil Engineer – Mega Infrastructure Projects

About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Civil Engineer to join our Project and Construction Management team in Riyadh, within the Infrastructure Division. The position focuses on large‑scale civil and transportation projects such as roads, highways, bridges, underpasses, tunnels and related urban infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Amplify or resolve design issues and coordinate with home‑office support when needed.
• Provide technical advice on design changes and oversee contractor’s technical submissions, shop drawings, materials and design documents.
• Conduct final reviews of all contractor documentation to ensure compliance with project design concepts.
• Assess and report on value‑engineering proposals.
• Maintain technical control of all road works and coordinate with other discipline specialists.
• Act as the primary point of contact between the Civil Engineering department and the Technical Manager.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on Road Design or equivalent experience.
• Professional affiliation with RICS, IQS, ICES or CIOB.
• Minimum 15 years of consultancy and project‑management experience on mega construction projects, primarily as a consultant.
• Demonstrated road‑design experience and proven ability to review contractor submissions and supervise site works.
• Strong knowledge of local regulations and safety standards.
• Excellent communication skills, proficiency in English (Arabic a plus), and solid report‑writing ability.
• Willingness to work in a multinational environment, transferable Iqama for non‑Saudis, based in Riyadh, and valid SCE membership.
