Senior Cloud Platform Engineer

About the role

Mozn, an enterprise AI company focused on financial crime prevention and enterprise knowledge intelligence, is looking for a Senior Cloud Platform Engineer in Riyadh. You will design, build and evolve scalable, secure and cost-efficient cloud platforms on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), creating reusable blueprints, infrastructure abstractions and automated workflows that simplify infrastructure provisioning and application delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Design and operate reliable cloud-native platforms on GCP, centred on GKE, and build reusable platform blueprints and infrastructure modules for self-service provisioning.
• Manage the lifecycle of Kubernetes clusters, including upgrades, scaling, performance and resource utilization.
• Build and maintain GitHub Actions workflows and GitOps pipelines with Argo CD or Flux, and implement policy-driven deployments with OPA/Gatekeeper and Kyverno.
• Develop automation and internal tooling in Python, Bash or Go to reduce manual work and improve developer experience.
• Troubleshoot Kubernetes networking, ingress, service discovery and traffic management, and work with gateways and service meshes such as Istio, NGINX and HAProxy.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to simplify application onboarding, and drive initiatives from design through production readiness and operational support.
• Apply security best practices (IAM, workload identity, network policies) and identify cost optimization opportunities through capacity planning, autoscaling and rightsizing.

Required profile

• 6+ years of experience in cloud, platform or infrastructure engineering.
• Deep hands-on expertise in GCP and Kubernetes, including production experience with GKE.
• Experience building reusable infrastructure modules, platform blueprints or developer self-service capabilities.
• Proven troubleshooting skills and the ability to independently own complex technical initiatives.

Required skills

• Infrastructure as code with Terraform, Pulumi, Crossplane or equivalent.
• GitOps (Argo CD/Flux) and GitHub Actions/Workflows.
• Policy-as-code tools such as OPA/Gatekeeper or Kyverno.
• Proficiency in Python, Bash or Go.
• Cloud networking, Linux and distributed systems.

Preferred: MLOps, AI infrastructure, GPU workloads, OCI or AWS exposure, and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Loki or Datadog. The role offers competitive compensation, health insurance and a supportive, high-growth environment.
