Senior Director of Oncology Nursing

About the role

The organization is seeking a senior nursing leader to direct Oncology Nursing Services across a large tertiary hospital in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia. This 24‑hour operational role reports to senior management and is responsible for driving clinical excellence and strategic initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage Oncology Nursing operations throughout the department.
• Develop and implement strategic and operational plans aligned with hospital goals.
• Oversee budgets, workforce planning, and performance metrics.
• Drive quality‑improvement initiatives, patient safety programs, and evidence‑based practice.
• Ensure compliance with international healthcare accreditation standards.
• Mentor and develop nursing leaders, fostering a high‑performing culture.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient‑care delivery.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Nursing, Health, or Allied Health (required); Bachelor’s degree in Nursing with specialty certification; Doctorate preferred.
• Current professional nursing licence.
• Minimum 11 years post‑registration clinical experience, including at least 5 years in senior management within a 350+‑bed accredited hospital.
• Expert knowledge in Oncology Nursing and strong leadership, financial, and operational management capabilities.
• Excellent spoken and written English.
