Senior Engineer – Infrastructure Projects

About the role

AECOM is seeking a Senior Engineer to lead moderately complex infrastructure projects across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. You will manage projects from inception to closeout, ensuring they meet scope, schedule, and budget requirements while delivering high‑quality outcomes for our clients.

Key responsibilities

• Manage one or more moderately complex projects, including regional clients or multi‑service engagements.
• Oversee all project phases, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, and budget.
• Supervise senior‑level engineers and cross‑functional teams (project controls, scheduling, cost control, estimating, procurement).
• Mentor junior and mid‑level engineering staff.
• Conduct quality‑assurance reviews and technical audits to meet KSA engineering standards and regulations.
• Maintain client relationships, provide regular updates, and ensure client satisfaction.
• Control budgets, resource planning, and cost‑optimization measures.
• Identify and mitigate project risks to avoid delays and cost overruns.
• Ensure compliance with KSA environmental, regulatory, and contractual obligations.
• Prepare comprehensive project documentation and deliverables.
• Drive continuous improvement and process optimization.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing moderately complex infrastructure projects in the Middle East.
• Strong knowledge of KSA regulations, building codes, and environmental standards.
• Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Excellent communication and client‑management skills.
• Track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
