Senior External Auditor – Jeddah

About the role

EY is seeking a Senior External Auditor to join its Jeddah audit team. You will support clients by accurately reporting on financial statements and delivering insightful accounting and reporting advice.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in audit engagements, collaborating with team members and keeping senior staff updated on progress.
• Prepare for and attend meetings with client management, assisting in the preparation of reports, schedules, and audit documentation.
• Develop and maintain productive relationships with client personnel and identify potential business opportunities for EY.
• Contribute to recruitment and retention initiatives for assurance professionals.
• Identify and assess audit risks, escalating issues as needed and ensuring high‑quality deliverables are reviewed.

Required profile

• Strong academic record with a university degree; professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA or CA is preferred.
• Minimum of four years of external audit experience, ideally with a Big 4 accounting firm.
• Proactive, accountable and results‑driven mindset with the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build internal and external relationships.
