Senior IBM Maximo MAS Technical Engineer / Consultant

About the role

InnovationTeam is looking for an experienced IBM Maximo Application Suite (MAS) Technical Engineer to lead the architecture, deployment, customisation and integration of IBM MAS across its enterprise clients. You will set up the MAS environment (OpenShift or hybrid cloud), tailor business logic and UI to client needs, and integrate legacy applications and ERP platforms (SAP, Oracle, SCADA, GIS) into the Maximo ecosystem.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, configure and maintain MAS 8/9+ core components (Manage, Monitor, Health, Predict)
• Support deployment on Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform (on-premises or cloud-hosted) with cloud and infrastructure teams
• Configure security, LDAP/SAML/SSO directory integration and role-based access controls
• Build custom business logic with Jython/Python and JavaScript, and customise apps with Maximo Application Designer, Workflow Designer and database configuration
• Integrate MAS with SAP/Oracle, IoT/SCADA, Esri GIS and document repositories via MIF, REST/JSON, Kafka/MQ queues
• Plan and execute data migration and schema mapping from legacy Maximo v7.6 or other systems
• Run unit testing, SIT and UAT support, write technical documentation and runbooks, and deliver client handover and tier-3 troubleshooting

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems or a related field
• 5+ years of hands-on Maximo experience, including at least 1-2 years with MAS 8.x/9.x
• Proven experience configuring Red Hat OpenShift environments hosting Maximo
• Strong expertise in MIF, REST/JSON APIs, Web Services and ESB
• Preferred: IBM Certified Deployment Professional for Maximo MAS, Red Hat OpenShift Specialist certification, and prior projects in KSA enterprise sectors (Energy/Utilities, Infrastructure, Transportation, Giga-projects)

Required skills

• Automation scripting (Python/Jython) and SQL (Oracle, Db2 or MS SQL Server)
• Familiarity with Maximo Manage modules: Asset, Work Order, Inventory, Purchasing, Preventive Maintenance
