Senior Internal Auditor

About the role

Cenomi Retail, a leading multi‑brand retailer operating over 1,600 stores across the Middle East, is seeking a Senior Internal Auditor to join its Internal Audit function. Reporting to the Internal Audit Manager, you will lead risk‑based audit engagements and support the company’s governance framework.

Key responsibilities

• Execute internal audit engagements in line with the approved audit plan and methodology.
• Conduct risk assessments, process walkthroughs, and control identification.
• Perform fieldwork, testing, and documentation of business processes and controls.
• Identify control weaknesses, operational inefficiencies and recommend improvement opportunities.
• Prepare comprehensive audit working papers and clear, actionable audit reports.
• Evaluate internal controls, risk management processes and compliance with policies and regulations.
• Utilize data‑analytics tools to analyse large data sets, detect anomalies and enhance audit coverage.
• Support remediation tracking and validation of management action plans.

Required profile

• 5‑7 years of internal audit experience, preferably with exposure to the retail sector.
• Professional certification (CIA, CPA, ACCA, SOCPA, CA) or progress toward one.
• Prior experience at a Big 4 accounting or advisory firm.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data‑analytics techniques.
• Bilingual proficiency in Arabic and English is preferred but not mandatory.
• Saudi nationals are preferred but not mandatory.
