Senior Marketing Manager, KSA & MEA

About the role

The Senior Marketing Manager will act as the strategic marketing partner for Valvoline’s businesses in Saudi Arabia (KSA) and the broader Middle East & Africa (MEA) region. Reporting to regional leadership, you will translate commercial objectives and annual OGSMs into integrated market activation plans that drive growth, brand consistency and profitable performance.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with KSA and MEA General Managers, Finance and commercial leaders to convert business plans into clear activation road‑maps.
• Maintain separate activation priorities, budgets and performance rhythms for KSA and MEA, ensuring visible marketing ownership of each P&L.
• Define and execute market activation initiatives across distributors, customers, channels, product launches, sponsorships, events and trade programmes.
• Lead trade‑marketing and market‑activation teams, coordinating distributor, customer, trade, event and sponsorship activities.
• Establish governance structures, decision‑making rights and performance measurement frameworks.
• Leverage shared EMEA Brand, Product Marketing, Digital, Intelligence and COE capabilities to scale activation models.

Required profile

• Proven senior‑level experience in marketing, trade marketing or market activation, preferably within automotive or industrial sectors.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross‑functional teams across multiple countries.
• Strong business acumen with experience translating strategic plans into actionable marketing programs.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, working closely with sales, finance, brand, product and digital functions.
