Senior Mechanical Design Engineer (Rotating & Stationary Equipment)

About the role

The Senior Mechanical Design Engineer will lead the design, development and testing of rotating and stationary equipment for oil and gas projects. The role combines advanced physics, mechanics and CAD expertise to deliver safe, cost‑effective solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and test rotating and stationary equipment using CAD software.
• Create and maintain technical documentation ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define specifications and cost targets.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures and oversee manufacturing processes.
• Analyze real‑world problems and improve product safety, accessibility and affordability.
• Develop solutions for HVAC, power generation, transportation, processing and manufacturing systems.

Required profile

• Bachelor or Master degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in the oil & gas industry.
• At least 5 years of experience on Aramco projects in Saudi Arabia, especially pipeline or cross‑country pipeline projects.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CAD software.
• Strong knowledge of mechanics and physics.
• Ability to produce detailed technical documentation.
