About the role
AstraZeneca is expanding its rare disease footprint in Saudi Arabia and seeks a Senior Medical Science Liaison (MSL) to support the launch and adoption of new therapies in haematology, nephrology and transplant. The role will be based in the Western Region of KSA and reports to the Medical Manager Rare Disease.
Key responsibilities
- Identify and cultivate relationships with healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurse practitioners, registered nurses and pharmacists.
- Provide medical and scientific support to HCPs on AstraZeneca’s rare disease portfolio.
- Channel scientific capabilities to bring new rare‑disease therapies into clinical practice.
- Report directly to the Medical Manager Rare Disease.
Required profile
- Minimum 72 months (6 years) of experience in medical affairs, scientific liaison or related therapeutic areas.
- Demonstrated experience in rare diseases, haematology, nephrology or transplant.
- Professional with scientific, clinical and therapeutic‑area expertise.
- Willingness to work in the Western Region of Saudi Arabia.
