Senior Organizational Development Specialist

About the role

The Senior Organizational Development Specialist will lead analysis, planning, and implementation of strategies that enhance departmental structure, culture, and performance. This role aligns organizational goals with departmental initiatives, drives employee engagement, and ensures best‑practice deployment across the unit.

Key responsibilities

• Assess current departmental structures, workflows, and processes, and design streamlined operations and clear organizational charts.
• Lead change initiatives, partner with leadership, and create communication plans to secure employee buy‑in during transitions.
• Identify skill gaps, collaborate with HR to develop training programs, and design succession plans for critical roles.
• Establish performance metrics, set clear goals, and recommend interventions to address performance challenges.
• Promote an inclusive culture through surveys, focus groups, and initiatives that foster collaboration and innovation.
• Serve as liaison between the department and other units, providing regular updates to senior management on OD initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Development, Human Resources, Business Administration or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Organizational Development, HR, or a similar role with a proven record of leading structural and cultural change.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication abilities.
• Leadership and interpersonal skills to influence stakeholders at all levels.

Required skills

• Proficiency with organizational design principles and related tools.
• Knowledge of performance management systems and metrics.
• Experience using HRIS platforms and reporting tools.
