Senior Procurement Manager (Civil/Architect)

About the role

The Senior Procurement Manager will lead the strategic planning and execution of procurement activities for a luxurious 5‑star hotel construction project. Reporting to senior leadership, you will shape sourcing strategies, negotiate high‑value contracts and ensure cost‑effective, high‑quality delivery across civil and fit‑out works.

Key responsibilities

• Define and communicate supply strategies, aligning stakeholders and leveraging economies of scale.
• Lead savings and operating cash‑flow programs for assigned categories and business units.
• Negotiate and manage high‑value contracts, maintaining strong supplier relationships.
• Monitor budgets, financial performance and compliance with HSE and regulatory standards.
• Identify metrics, tools and processes to optimise sourcing efficiency and mitigate risks.
• Drive continuous improvement, work simplification and operational excellence in strategic sourcing.
• Maintain external networks and build alliances that enhance competitive advantage.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering or Architecture.
• 15‑18 years of procurement experience in civil and fit‑out projects, preferably in hotel or similar large‑scale developments.
• Proven expertise in strategic sourcing, contract negotiation and supplier relationship management.
• Strong leadership ability to mentor and motivate procurement teams.
• Excellent analytical, communication and negotiation skills.
