About the role
The Senior Procurement Specialist manages the end-to-end procurement process, ensuring cost-effective purchasing, reliable vendors and compliance with company policies. The role calls for strong negotiation, analytical and supplier management skills to support project and operational needs.
Key responsibilities
- Lead sourcing, tendering and negotiation for goods and services
- Evaluate suppliers on quality, price and delivery performance
- Prepare purchase orders and contracts in line with procurement policies
- Work with departments to identify needs and optimise procurement planning
- Monitor supplier performance and keep vendor records up to date
- Support cost-saving initiatives and ensure timely delivery of materials
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration or a related field
- Minimum 4-6 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management
- Strong negotiation, communication and analytical skills
Required skills
- Proficiency in ERP systems such as Odoo, SAP and Oracle
- Knowledge of local and international procurement standards
