Senior Roads Engineer (Full-time)

About the role

ARX is expanding its presence in the GCC and seeks a Senior Roads Engineer to lead the design and delivery of road and highway projects in Riyadh. The role involves full responsibility for road geometry, grading, pavement design and coordination with multidisciplinary teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design, plan and oversee road and highway projects for various infrastructure developments.
• Perform and review road geometry, horizontal and vertical alignment, grading, pavement design and related engineering analyses.
• Ensure compliance with local KSA regulations, standards and best practices.
• Coordinate with project managers and other engineering disciplines to integrate road systems into overall designs.
• Prepare detailed engineering reports, plans and documentation.
• Review designs and technical deliverables from engineers, designers and BIM/CAD teams.
• Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and liaise with government authorities, clients and stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in infrastructure projects, with at least 3 years in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
• Strong knowledge of road and highway design, construction practices and KSA codes and standards.
• Fluency in English; Arabic is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Civil 3D.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Vehicle Tracking.
• Experience with BIM/CAD tools.
