Senior Sales Engineer (Saudi National)

About the role

Carrier is looking for a results-driven Senior Sales Engineer based in Dammam to support and grow its service and aftermarket business. The role focuses on service agreements, maintenance contracts, service repairs and digitalized service solutions, working with customers and internal teams to identify needs, build tailored solutions, negotiate commercial agreements and achieve sales targets.

Key responsibilities

• Develop new business opportunities and expand the customer base for service agreements, maintenance contracts, service repairs and aftermarket solutions.
• Manage existing customer accounts, build relationships with key stakeholders and increase customer retention and service revenue.
• Prepare and follow up on quotations, commercial proposals, tenders and service sales inquiries.
• Lead commercial negotiations to secure profitable orders and achieve sales and order booking targets.
• Promote connected and digital service offerings with professional proposals and tailored solutions.
• Prepare monthly sales forecasts, monitor the sales pipeline and report performance to management.
• Identify prospective customers and target accounts, and carry out customer visits, meetings and workshops and take part in industry events.
• Follow up on outstanding payments and collaborate with sales, service and technical teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field; Mechanical Engineering preferred, an MBA is an added advantage.
• 3-5 years of experience in sales, business development or customer relationship management, preferably in HVAC, building services or a related industry.
• Demonstrated experience selling service agreements, maintenance contracts and service repair solutions.
• Strong Arabic and English communication and relationship-building skills.
• Experience with sales forecasting, pipeline management and achieving sales targets.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience in HVAC service sales, aftermarket business or technical service solutions.
• Familiarity with digitalized and connected service offerings.
• Experience managing tenders, preparing commercial proposals and negotiating service contracts.
