Senior Sales Manager - LIONS Riyadh

About the role

Tahaluf, a joint venture between Informa PLC, SAFCSP and the Events Investment Fund, organises large B2B live and on-demand events in Saudi Arabia. LIONS Riyadh is a festival within the global LIONS community, launched in partnership with LIONS and the Ministry of Media, showcasing Middle Eastern creativity. The Senior Sales Manager drives commercial growth for LIONS Riyadh by generating revenue from new and existing customers and external agents, building and converting a pipeline of brands, agencies, media companies, technology platforms and creative businesses.

Key responsibilities

• Build and execute sales and account-development plans and achieve personal and event revenue targets.
• Sourcing and closing leads, developing strategies to attract new customers and building long-term account plans.
• Engage new prospects and build strong relationships with existing clients, positioning LIONS Riyadh opportunities against their objectives.
• Meet customers face to face, by phone, virtually or in writing, map their needs and write business proposals and review customer contracts.
• Negotiate with stakeholders, develop bespoke commercial solutions and maintain CRM records.
• Prepare sales forecasts and reports to management, build a sales pipeline across Saudi Arabia, the GCC and priority international markets, and use social selling to drive referrals.
• Share market intelligence and client feedback, attend industry events and contribute to shaping future commercial products.

Required profile

• At least 5 years' experience as a Sales Manager.
• Demonstrable track record in a new business hunter role in a solutions-based B2B environment.
• Experience selling to brands, agencies, media companies, technology platforms or other senior B2B clients, with a client network in at least one market or sector.
• Experience in media, advertising, marketing, creative industries, technology, major events or premium B2B platforms is highly desirable.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; relevant commercial experience may be considered instead of formal qualifications.
