Senior Scheduling & Planning Engineer – Project Controls

About the role

Penspen is seeking a Senior Scheduling/Planning Engineer to join its PMS project team. The role oversees the project controls function, supports the Project Management team, and reviews early‑stage deliverables for cost, schedule and risk.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the project controls team deployed on various projects.
• Provide project control support to the Project Management team.
• Review early‑stage deliverables (FEL1 and FEL2) concerning cost, schedule and risk.

Required profile

• Minimum 14 years of overall experience, including at least 10 years in project management, planning, scheduling, cost estimation, cost and budget control, procurement tracking and forecasting for major oil and gas projects.
• Prior experience in a Project Management Consultancy (PMC) role is preferred.
• Working knowledge of various contracting types and execution strategies.
• Experience in schedule and cost benchmarking of upstream oil and gas projects.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel.
• Working knowledge of Primavera P6.
• Engineering, construction or project management degree.
