Senior SEO Specialist – Technical & Generative AI Focus

About the role

We are looking for a Senior SEO Specialist who will co-own organic growth across technical SEO, content optimization and emerging AI-driven search experiences for a B2B SaaS business. The role blends hands-on technical work with strategic ownership of content architecture, search visibility and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO).

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the technical SEO roadmap, covering crawlability, indexation, structured data, sitemaps, canonical tags, redirects and Core Web Vitals.
• Run regular technical SEO audits with tools such as Screaming Frog, Ahrefs and Google Search Console and prioritize fixes based on business impact.
• Develop content architecture, internal linking strategies and keyword research that translate GEO intent into actionable briefs.
• Build and own the Generative Engine Optimization strategy to improve content discovery on AI platforms like ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews.
• Set link-building direction, identify link-worthy assets and oversee digital PR outreach.
• Collaborate with content, product marketing, design and engineering to improve messaging, information architecture and technical implementation.

Required profile

• 5+ years of SEO experience, preferably leading organic strategy for a B2B SaaS website.
• Deep technical SEO knowledge of crawlability, indexation, structured data, Core Web Vitals and site architecture.
• Proven ability to connect organic performance to qualified paying customers.
• Strong data-driven mindset and experience working cross-functionally with content, product and engineering teams.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, Google Search Console and GA4.
• Experience using AI-visibility platforms such as Otterly or Profound.
• Hands-on expertise in structured data, schema markup and Core Web Vitals optimization.
• Keyword research, content architecture and internal linking strategy.
• Link-building, digital PR and off-page SEO tactics.
