Senior Solution Architect – Distributed Systems & EBU

About the role

Innovation Team is looking for a Senior Solution Architect to lead the design and delivery of high‑performance distributed systems for the telecom Enterprise Business Unit (EBU). You will translate complex business requirements into scalable, secure architectures that improve operational efficiency and customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyse requirements and define solution architecture.
• Design, implement and document distributed systems that are robust, highly available and auto‑scalable.
• Evaluate existing infrastructure, identify performance gaps and propose improvements.
• Mentor technical teams on best practices for distributed system design and integration.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and trends in cloud, DevOps and telecom EBU solutions.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in distributed system design for secured, high‑availability environments.
• Strong background in telecom EBU business models (B2B & B2B2C) and customer‑experience initiatives.
• Proven ability to work across cross‑functional teams and communicate architecture concepts to both technical and non‑technical audiences.

Required skills

• Software architecture (monolithic and microservices).
• Cloud platforms and DevOps (AWS, GCP, Azure, OpenShift).
• Containerisation and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Monitoring and logging (ELK, Grafana).
• System integration and database technologies (relational & non‑relational).
