Senior Network Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Engineer to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our organization's complex network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in enterprise networking and a passion for optimizing network performance and security.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deploy LAN, WAN, WLAN, and VPN networks, configuring routers, switches, and firewalls while ensuring security and operational standards.
• Implement security measures such as firewalls, NAC, and encryption, and coordinate with cybersecurity teams to manage access controls.
• Perform network upgrades, patches, and troubleshooting to resolve issues quickly and minimize downtime.
• Use monitoring tools (SolarWinds, Nagios, PRTG) for performance monitoring, proactive alerts, QoS configuration, and capacity planning.
• Manage vendor relationships, oversee network projects, and ensure compliance with SLAs and technical specifications.
• Maintain documentation of network configurations, incidents, and resolutions, and provide status reports on network health and vendor performance.
• Collaborate closely with IT, cybersecurity, and compliance teams to ensure seamless network integration and solution development.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications such as CCNP, CCNP Data Center Core, Fortinet NSE, or Palo Alto PCNSE preferred.
• At least 5 years of experience in network administration and design.
• Strong understanding of networking protocols including BGP, OSPF, VLAN, QoS, IPsec, and VPN.
• Hands‑on experience with Cisco, Juniper, and Fortinet equipment.
• Proficiency with network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, Nagios) and SNMP configurations.
• Demonstrated vendor management and project coordination abilities.
