Senior Staff Physician – Family Practice

About the role

Provide high‑standard, cost‑effective family practice care to eligible patients at Johns Hopkins Aramco Healthcare in Al‑Hasa, under the supervision of an Attending Physician. The role involves active participation in clinical, educational, and quality‑improvement activities within the hospital.

Key responsibilities

• Assess, admit, and manage patients from the Emergency Room, outpatient clinics, and transfers, conducting necessary investigations and daily rounds.
• Respond promptly to emergency calls, trauma, Code‑Blue, and rapid‑response situations, and provide 24‑hour on‑call coverage as scheduled.
• Perform inpatient consultations, discharge planning, and coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams.
• Deliver outpatient services, including clinic visits, referrals, and minor emergency procedures.
• Assist in the operating room, perform approved procedures and peri‑operative anesthetic management, and ensure proper documentation.
• Maintain complete, legible patient records, participate in medical‑records audits, and adhere to confidentiality policies.
• Engage in quality and safety activities, departmental meetings, and committee work.

Required profile

• Board‑certified physician, SCFHS registered as senior registrar or consultant.
• Graduated from an approved medical school with a one‑year internship.
• Minimum three years of post‑internship experience in family practice.
• Hold relevant certifications and maintain continuous medical‑education credits.
• Experience in teaching junior staff, medical students, and interns.
