Senior Storage Lead – Enterprise Infrastructure

About the role

Excis is seeking a Senior Storage Lead to own and drive the enterprise storage, backup, and data‑protection landscape across its Saudi Arabia operations. The role combines hands‑on technical work with leadership of incident response, capacity planning, and migration projects.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and support enterprise SAN/NAS environments, including provisioning, expansion, migration and decommissioning.
• Monitor storage availability, performance, capacity and health; identify risks and recommend improvements.
• Troubleshoot complex SAN/NAS connectivity issues and coordinate with infrastructure teams and vendors.
• Lead backup administration, policy definition, schedule management and recovery testing using platforms such as Veeam, Commvault, ExaGrid or Synology NAS.
• Support disaster‑recovery and business‑continuity initiatives, ensuring RPO/RTO targets are met and participating in DR drills.
• Integrate storage with virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper‑V, Nutanix) and cloud services (Azure Storage, Azure Backup).
• Drive capacity planning, performance monitoring and lead storage upgrades, migrations and technology refreshes.
• Act as senior escalation point for P1/P2 incidents, lead root‑cause analysis and coordinate technical changes.

Required profile

• Extensive hands‑on experience with enterprise SAN/NAS storage solutions.
• Proven track record in backup, disaster‑recovery and storage migration projects.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for complex storage and connectivity issues.
• Ability to lead incident response, perform RCA and work with cross‑functional teams.
