Senior System Analyst

About the role

InnovationTeam is looking for a Senior System Analyst in Riyadh to bridge business stakeholders, project leadership, architects and delivery teams on a large-scale digital integration program. The role translates business, operational and regulatory needs into functional and technical requirements across integration services, event streaming, the developer portal, reporting and operations, and coordinates interface requirements with the AI engineering workstream. The ideal candidate is a native Arabic speaker with excellent English fluency and a strong command of the full SDLC.

Key responsibilities

• Elicit, analyse, validate and trace functional and non-functional requirements for the non-AI project scope
• Produce BRDs, SRS, specifications, user stories, acceptance criteria, interface requirements, data mappings and analysis documents
• Document processes, workflows, sequence diagrams, APIs, integration mappings and data flows
• Maintain traceability, backlog readiness, change requests and priorities aligned with security, data, service-level and technical governance
• Define acceptance criteria and test scenarios, work with QA on integration, performance and UAT, and verify delivered services
• Work with integration, portal, event-streaming, operations, cybersecurity, data-governance and AI teams, defining AI-related interfaces and data requirements without owning AI model design, development or training

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems or a related field
• 5+ years in Systems Analysis or Business Systems Analysis, including enterprise integration or digital transformation projects
• Strong expertise in requirements engineering, stakeholder facilitation, traceability and change management
• Hands-on experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence and MS Visio (or similar)
• Deep understanding of SDLC and Agile/Scrum, including testing, UAT and release-readiness
• Native Arabic speaker with excellent written and spoken English

Required skills

• APIs, web services, system interfaces, data mapping, integration patterns and event-driven systems
• Databases, SQL, JSON, XML and interface specifications
• Preferred: IBM App Connect, API Connect, DataPower, MQ, Kafka/Confluent, developer portals, Instana or Kibana
• Familiarity with KSA digital transformation, cybersecurity, data-governance and regulatory environments is a strong plus
