Senior Technician, Plasma

About the role

The Senior Technician, Plasma is responsible for operating and maintaining plasma spray equipment and related blasting processes. The role ensures safe, efficient, and high‑quality plasma applications on complex parts while complying with all safety regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Operate required equipment and follow safety procedures and regulations.
• Identify materials used for blasting and plasma processes.
• Perform blasting according to standard practices.
• Set up conditions for plasma spray and program automated equipment.
• Troubleshoot and test defects during work.
• Apply plasma using extension gun and operate plasma robotic systems.
• Troubleshoot 7 mb plasma spray system, 4 mb powder feed unit, and robotic systems.
• Maintain quality service standards and follow all procedures.
• Undertake any other functions assigned by the immediate supervisor.

Required profile

• Proven experience with plasma spray and blasting operations.
• Ability to program and operate automated and robotic equipment.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for plasma spray systems and related hardware.
• Commitment to safety and quality standards.
