SEO & Digital Marketing Expert (Remote, Contract)

About the role

This is an hourly, remote contractor position where you will act as an SEO and Digital Marketing Subject Matter Expert. You will review AI‑generated SEO and marketing outputs, create high‑quality digital marketing content, and provide precise written feedback to improve AI model performance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop AI training content, including detailed prompts, content briefs, strategy notes, and optimization analyses.
• Evaluate and rank AI responses for intent match, correctness, clarity, and practical applicability.
• Identify and correct issues related to search intent, keyword strategy, on‑page and technical SEO, content structure, measurement, and compliance risks.
• Fact‑check information, write explanatory notes, and model best‑practice outputs.
• Provide consistent, high‑quality feedback to help improve AI models used by leading AI companies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Journalism, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 5+ years of professional experience in SEO and/or digital marketing (in‑house, agency, or consultancy).
• Strong command of SEO fundamentals and technical SEO concepts.
• Proven ability to evaluate writing and strategy for clarity, persuasion, and brand voice.
• Exceptional attention to detail, especially for weak logic, overclaims, hallucinated facts, or risky marketing claims.
• Reliable, self‑directed, and comfortable working across time zones in a remote, hourly workflow.
• Previous experience with AI data training, editorial QA, or performance‑marketing review is a plus.

Required skills

• Keyword research, intent mapping, information architecture, internal linking, content briefs, SERP analysis.
• Technical SEO: crawl/indexation, canonicalization, redirects, sitemaps, Core Web Vitals, schema markup.
• Analytics: Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Google Search Console, dashboard creation, experiment design, attribution understanding.
