ServiceNow Technical Architect - Oracle Database Migration

About the role

We are looking for an experienced ServiceNow Technical Architect with strong hands‑on experience in database migration projects, specifically involving Oracle databases. The ideal candidate should have personally participated in or led an end‑to‑end Oracle database migration, preferably involving migration from Oracle to another database platform, including RaptorDB / self‑hosted database environments.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the technical architecture and execution of Oracle database migration projects, designing migration strategies, data mapping, transformation, validation, and reconciliation.
• Assess existing Oracle environments, schemas, tables, dependencies and plan migration activities to RaptorDB or other target databases.
• Ensure data integrity, completeness, performance and security throughout the migration lifecycle.
• Coordinate with ServiceNow, database, infrastructure, application and integration teams.
• Troubleshoot migration issues, develop solutions for data compatibility and performance challenges.
• Manage migration testing, validation, cut‑over and post‑migration support, including documentation and rollback strategies.

Required profile

• 8+ years of IT experience, with strong background as a ServiceNow Technical Architect or Senior Technical Consultant.
• Proven hands‑on experience with at least one end‑to‑end Oracle database migration project.
• Deep knowledge of Oracle databases, SQL schemas, data structures and migration challenges.
• Experience with database‑to‑database migration, preferably Oracle → RaptorDB or self‑hosted databases.
• Strong troubleshooting, technical problem‑solving and stakeholder‑management skills.
