Site Construction Manager – CCGT / Cogeneration Plant (Eastern Region)

About the role

The Site Construction Manager will lead on‑site supervision, coordination and follow‑up of EPC works for a Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) / Cogeneration plant. Acting as the main interface between the client, EPC contractor and WSP project team, you will ensure construction is carried out safely, to contract specifications and on schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Lead site construction supervision and coordination for EPC works, ensuring compliance with approved drawings, specifications and standards.
• Serve as the day‑to‑day interface with client, EPC contractor and internal teams for progress, priorities, constraints and issue resolution.
• Monitor daily site activities, manpower, equipment, material availability and adherence to the construction schedule.
• Review and comment on method statements, ITPs, permits, risk assessments, lifting plans and temporary works.
• Participate in progress, coordination and client meetings; record actions, circulate minutes and track follow‑up.
• Support construction planning, look‑ahead schedules, critical path analysis and readiness reviews.
• Coordinate quality and HSE compliance, tracking NCRs, punch items and corrective actions.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading EPC site construction for large‑scale power or cogeneration projects.
• Strong ability to interface with clients, contractors and multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple work fronts, schedules and issue logs.
• Knowledge of construction codes, standards and safety regulations.
