Site Engineer – Civil Works for Telecom Projects

About the role

We are seeking a Site Engineer to lead civil works for STC telecommunications projects, including towers, shelters, fiber optic infrastructure, and related construction activities. The role ensures safe, on‑time, and budget‑compliant delivery while adhering to STC standards and quality requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all civil construction activities for STC projects.
• Ensure site preparation, foundations, tower bases, shelters, handholes, manholes, duct banks, and trenching works are executed according to approved drawings and specifications.
• Monitor subcontractors and site teams to ensure compliance with STC standards and project requirements.
• Conduct site inspections and quality checks before, during, and after construction activities.
• Coordinate with STC representatives, consultants, contractors, and internal project teams.
• Ensure timely completion of assigned sites and achieve project milestones.
• Review civil work quantities and verify completed work for invoicing purposes.
• Monitor material delivery and usage at project sites.
• Identify and resolve site issues that may affect project progress.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
• Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, Security, and Environmental (HSSE) requirements.
• Support site acceptance processes and close out all punch‑list items.
• Participate in project meetings and provide updates on site progress.
