Site Manager - JIGH

About the role

Air Products is hiring a Site Manager for its JIGH site in Jubail, Saudi Arabia. The site houses an Air Separation Plant, a Hydrogen Steam Methane Reformer, a CO2 unit, compression, steam turbine generator, ancillary and utility equipment, a merchant facility and a pipeline network. The Site Manager reports to the Operation Line Manager and manages the day-to-day operations of the site.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and supervise the operations and maintenance team, including Assistant Site Manager, Shift Supervisors, Operators and the maintenance team
• Run customer production meetings and make sure daily operational targets are met
• Interface with Maintenance and Engineering teams to keep the site safe and reliable
• Ensure adherence to company HSSE policy, environmental regulatory requirements and BHIG standards for EH&S, productivity, reliability, quality and customer service
• Give technical direction on troubleshooting, maintenance, repair and testing, and support document control and quality assurance
• Support scheduled outages so contractual requirements are met, and work with business areas on productivity expansion projects
• Use the BHIG Basic Safety Practice program (Safety Work Permits, LOTO, Confined Space) to protect operations and maintenance personnel
• Verify SAP maintenance notifications on site, check work permits and take part in pre-work visits with contractors
• Take part in planning maintenance and process shutdowns, daily meetings and the weekly maintenance schedule
• Organise regular equipment testing and routine preventive maintenance, and release work permits once precautions are fulfilled
