Solution Account Manager

About the role

Belden is seeking a Solution Account Manager to drive sales within the Process (Oil, Gas & Petrochemicals) vertical in Saudi Arabia. You will act as a trusted advisor to large industrial customers, combining technical, operational and commercial expertise to deliver sustainable growth.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage large accounts, focusing on end‑user selling and expanding existing relationships.
• Identify and acquire new customers in the oil, gas and petrochemical sectors.
• Collaborate with engineering, marketing, product development and finance teams to deliver tailored solutions.
• Present technical evidence and connect customers with subject‑matter experts to build confidence.
• Operate in a metric‑driven environment, meeting sales targets and funnel objectives.
• Navigate a fast‑paced, matrixed organization while maintaining a proactive and flexible approach.

Required profile

• MBA or Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business, Engineering or a related STEM field.
• Minimum 5 years of professional sales experience, preferably in a medium‑to‑large international company.
• Proven track record of delivering sustained sales results in the process industry.
• Experience working in a matrix environment and with cross‑functional teams.
• Knowledge of sales fundamentals such as funnel management, account planning and proposition development.
• Familiarity with value‑selling methodologies; Miller Heiman Strategic Selling is a plus.
