Solutions Architect – ELV & ICT Infrastructure

About the role

The Solutions Architect will design and deliver integrated ELV and ICT infrastructure solutions for buildings and data centres, balancing technical design with commercial strategy and pre‑sales activities.

Key responsibilities

• Design integrated ELV and ICT solutions, including data‑center infrastructure, IP‑CCTV, access control, public address (PA/PAVA) and meeting‑room AV.
• Conduct site surveys and infrastructure assessments (power, cooling, cabling, acoustics).
• Prepare High‑Level Designs, Low‑Level Designs, riser diagrams and detailed Bills of Quantities.
• Ensure system interoperability across CCTV, access control, fire alarm and IoT platforms.
• Perform technical audits and verify implementation against approved designs.
• Lead technical pre‑sales activities: solution presentations, proofs of concept and client discussions.
• Support tender and RFP submissions with technical documentation.
• Apply value‑engineering to optimise solutions for profitability.
• Coordinate with OEM partners for product selection, pricing and technical support.
• Monitor project progress, enforce design standards and provide guidance to implementation teams.

Required profile

• B.E. / B.Tech in Electronics, Electrical or IT Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in technical design or pre‑sales for system‑integration projects.
• Experience with large integrators or OEMs such as Honeywell, Schneider Electric, Siemens, Johnson Controls or Bosch.
• Strong background in data‑center infrastructure (UPS, cooling, cabling).
• Expertise in IP‑CCTV, access‑control, public address (PA/PAVA) and meeting‑room AV solutions.
• Proficiency in site surveys, solution architecture and infrastructure planning.
• Mandatory knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Visio; BIM/Revit preferred.
• Relevant certifications (BICSI RCDD, CDCP/CDCS, AVIXA CTS, Cisco CCNA/CCNP, OEM certifications from Axis, Honeywell, Bosch, Milestone, Crestron).
