About the role
We are seeking a motivated Sous Chef to support the management of kitchen operations at our Yanbu hotel. The role involves assisting with menu planning, costing, and the development of new dishes while maintaining high food quality standards.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in organizing special events and food promotions.
- Maintain comprehensive product knowledge of ingredients, equipment, suppliers, and market trends.
- Ensure kitchen hygiene and personal cleanliness, including cleaning equipment.
- Collaborate with senior management on staffing needs, training, performance appraisals, and leave approvals.
- Support budgeting and cost control for the department.
- Uphold occupational health and safety policies, including emergency procedures and incident reporting.
Required profile
- At least 1 month of relevant kitchen experience.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and follow safety guidelines.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
