Sr Associate, Logistics & Freight Management

About the role

Alcon is seeking a Senior Associate to manage logistics and freight operations for its Saudi Distribution Center. The role involves coordinating inbound and outbound shipments, customs clearance, and supporting transportation projects across the Middle East and North Africa.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate inbound and outbound transportation activities and monitor shipment execution.
• Manage customs clearance documentation and act as the key contact with customs authorities using FASAH/ZATCA.
• Collaborate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, carriers, and warehouse teams to ensure operational continuity.
• Support NUPCO shipment processes, including ASN bookings and goods receipt management.
• Track deliveries, resolve logistics issues, and manage customer‑specific distribution requirements.
• Review freight invoices, validate costs, and follow up on discrepancies.
• Ensure compliance with GxP regulations, SOPs, and quality standards.
• Identify operational improvement opportunities and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience in logistics, transportation, freight forwarding, customs clearance, or supply chain operations.
• Knowledge of Saudi customs procedures and import/export documentation.
• Fluency in Arabic and English (written and spoken).

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Familiarity with FASAH/ZATCA systems.
