Sr. Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery Consultant (ISO 22301)

About the role

We are looking for a senior consultant to lead the design, implementation and certification of Business Continuity Management Systems (BCMS) in line with ISO 22301. The role combines hands‑on BCMS deployment, IT‑focused disaster recovery planning, crisis management and regulatory compliance for organisations operating in Saudi Arabia.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end BCMS implementation, conduct gap and maturity assessments, and prepare for ISO 22301 certification.
• Perform Business Impact Analyses and risk assessments to identify critical processes, dependencies and recovery priorities.
• Design and implement IT disaster‑recovery strategies, define RTO/RPO, and coordinate backup, replication and fail‑over solutions.
• Develop BC strategies, governance structures, crisis‑management and incident‑response frameworks.
• Plan, execute and evaluate BC/DR exercises, including tabletop and technical tests.
• Deliver workshops, awareness sessions and training for stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with Saudi regulations (DGA, SAMA, NCA) and align with ISO 27001, ITIL and COBIT standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, Risk Management, Business Administration or related field.
• 4–10 years of experience in business continuity and disaster recovery, preferably in a consulting capacity.
• Proven hands‑on experience implementing ISO 22301.
• Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, cloud environments and DR technologies.

Required skills

• ISO 22301 Lead Implementer or Lead Auditor (mandatory).
• ISO 31000, ISO 27001, ITIL, COBIT knowledge.
• Cloud platforms and disaster‑recovery technologies (backup, replication, fail‑over).
• Business Impact Analysis and risk‑assessment methodologies.
