SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services) Administration

About the role

The role focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining ETL processes using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS). You will ensure high‑performance SSIS packages, maintain data integrity, and support the broader Business Intelligence ecosystem.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes with SSIS and monitor package performance.
• Manage the SSIS catalog, deployments, and scheduling of packages.
• Implement data validation, error handling, and troubleshoot package failures.
• Collaborate with DBAs and developers to integrate SSIS with other systems.
• Monitor health, performance, and availability of BI tools; apply backups, updates, and patches.
• Document processes, configurations, and best practices for BI administration.
• Provide technical support and training to end‑users and stakeholders.
• Migrate self‑service reports and dashboards from Oracle BI/Tableau to Power BI.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Data Science or related field.
• 5+ years of experience administering Power BI, SSIS, and SSAS.
• Strong understanding of data warehousing, ETL processes and BI concepts.
• Experience with SQL Server, T‑SQL scripting and database administration.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS is a plus.
