Stand By Man – Onshore Operations (Saudi Arabia)

About the role

As a Stand By Man you will join Saipem’s onshore operations in Saudi Arabia, supporting safe and efficient site activities. You will ensure compliance with health, safety and environment (HSE) requirements, monitor work activities and assist operational teams in maintaining a safe working environment.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor daily work activities to ensure compliance with HSE procedures and company standards.
• Support supervisors and work crews during on‑site operations.
• Identify and report unsafe conditions and potential hazards.
• Assist in maintaining safe access, housekeeping and worksite readiness.
• Promote a strong safety culture and ensure effective communication across site teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree, diploma or high‑school certificate in a relevant discipline.
• 2–4 years of experience as a Stand By Man or in a similar support role within oil & gas, energy, construction or industrial sectors.
• Fluent English (mandatory); Arabic is an advantage.
• Knowledge of HSE procedures, Permit to Work (PTW) systems and site safety practices.
