Storage & Data Solutions Intern

About the role

The Storage & Data Solutions Intern will work alongside experienced sales, presales, and solution architects to help position HPE's storage portfolio for enterprise customers. This hybrid role combines on‑site collaboration at an HPE office with virtual work.

Key responsibilities

• Assist technical sales specialists and architects in designing enterprise storage solutions, aligning customer pain points with HPE hardware, software, and tape‑based data protection products.
• Prepare technical presentations, proposals, and solution briefs for customer demos.
• Research market trends and analyze competitor storage offerings to support positioning strategies for HPE GreenLake.
• Coordinate proof‑of‑concepts and technical deep‑dives with product, engineering, and sales teams.
• Support sales operations by tracking opportunities, maintaining pipeline hygiene, and using internal tools to streamline deal execution.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Business Information Technology, Business Administration with a tech focus, or a related field; eligible for COOP training.
• Strong interest in enterprise IT infrastructure, cloud computing, data storage, and server/storage hardware concepts.
• Enthusiasm for technology sales, customer engagement, and understanding how enterprise technology solves business problems.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus) with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
• Analytical problem‑solving mindset for matching customer requirements to technical solutions.
