Storekeeper – Food Service (Saudi Arabia)

About the role

The Storekeeper is responsible for receiving, staging, and managing merchandise across hotel departments, ensuring food safety and inventory accuracy. This full‑time position supports the smooth operation of food‑service areas within the Sheraton property in Saudi Arabia.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and stage merchandise, mark for placement, and deliver to appropriate departments.
• Stack received items on pallets or carts and complete requisition forms for inventory and supplies.
• Inspect deliveries for freshness, cleanliness, and quality; reject damaged or incorrect items.
• Store perishables properly, rotate stock, and maintain organized, sanitized refrigeration areas.
• Monitor stock levels, notify supervisors of low inventory, and remove empty pallets, cardboard, and trash.
• Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions; complete required safety training.
• Follow all company policies, maintain professional appearance, and protect confidential information.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• No prior related work experience required.
• Ability to lift and move objects up to 50 lb without assistance.
• Willingness to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods and work in confined or elevated spaces.
• Commitment to food‑safety standards and quality‑assurance expectations.
