Storekeeper

About the role

The Storekeeper will manage receipt, storage, maintenance and issuance of materials, tools and equipment for events, exhibitions and fit‑out projects. The role ensures timely availability, proper organization and safe handling of all items to support smooth event production.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and verify incoming goods against purchase orders, inspecting for damage.
• Issue materials, tools and equipment to production and installation teams based on approved requests.
• Coordinate packing, loading and dispatch of equipment to event venues.
• Manage returns, inspect returned items and restock appropriately.
• Maintain accurate inventory records, conduct regular stock counts and reconcile discrepancies.
• Organise and label stock for quick retrieval and monitor stock levels to prevent shortages or over‑stocking.
• Ensure workshop cleanliness, safety compliance and proper handling of hazardous or heavy items.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly stock reports and maintain documentation such as Material Received Reports and Stock Issue Vouchers.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 + years experience as a storekeeper, preferably in event fabrication.
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in warehouse/logistics management, business administration or related field.
• Proven ability to lead a team in high‑pressure, deadline‑driven environments.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to adapt to last‑minute project changes.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Strong command of Microsoft Office applications.
