Strategy & Planning Lead

About the role

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is hiring a Strategy & Planning Lead in Riyadh, working onsite from an HPE office. The role defines, manages and evaluates business plans so they are operationally executable against strategic objectives, and leads cross-functional teams in building short-term (typically under two years) business plans and supporting data-driven models. It is a Master-level position.

Key responsibilities

• Develop recommendations from complex data and business analyses and formulate them into business plans.
• Build statistical and financial models to analyse business performance and establish metrics to measure it.
• Recommend go-forward strategy to address performance gaps and set business metrics and targets.
• Lead complex, time-sensitive market research projects and identify trends and opportunities for business leaders.
• Staff and manage cross-functional teams, drive priority projects and make final team decisions.
• Partner with client business leaders to develop business plans and identify new opportunities.
• Develop analytical tools, models and methods for key business decisions, and counsel business leaders on strategy execution.

Required profile

• Typically 10+ years of experience in strategy, planning, operations, finance or a related functional area.
• Advanced university degree (e.g. MBA) or demonstrable equivalent experience.
• Ability to lead large, cross-functional initiatives and multiple time-sensitive projects.

Required skills

• Extensive knowledge of research methodology and excellent analytical, technical and data manipulation skills.
• Superior business acumen and strong verbal and written communication, including negotiation and influence.
• Project management, relationship management and leadership skills.
