Supply Chain Manager – End-to-End Operations for Tyre Plant

About the role
We are looking for an accomplished Supply Chain Manager to design and lead the full supply‑chain function for a new tyre manufacturing facility. You will be responsible for ensuring a smooth startup, ramp‑up, and ongoing production by coordinating planning, procurement, logistics and supplier performance.
Key responsibilities
- Develop the supply‑chain strategy, operating model and processes for plant startup and production ramp‑up.
- Lead demand, material‑requirements and production planning aligned with business forecasts.
- Secure timely supply of natural and synthetic rubber, carbon black, chemicals, steel and textile cords.
- Manage local and international procurement, supplier qualification, negotiations and long‑term agreements.
- Set inventory policies, safety‑stock levels and replenishment parameters.
- Oversee inbound logistics, customs clearance, warehousing, material handling and outbound distribution.
- Monitor supplier quality, delivery performance, lead times and supply risks through KPIs.
- Collaborate with Production, Compound Development, Quality, Engineering, Finance and Sales teams.
- Drive supply‑chain digitalisation and ERP/MRP utilisation for planning and inventory control.
- Lead cost‑optimisation, localisation, working‑capital improvement and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
- Develop contingency plans for critical materials and logistics disruptions.
- Recruit, develop and lead the supply‑chain team while establishing governance.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Logistics, Business Administration or related field; Master’s preferred.
- 10–12 years of progressive supply‑chain experience in manufacturing, with leadership responsibility.
- Strong experience in tyre manufacturing is highly preferred.
- Experience supporting greenfield facilities or plant startups is a strong advantage.
- Fluency in English mandatory; Arabic a plus.
