Supply Chain Planner

About the role

The Supply Chain Planner will support both commercial and demand planning functions, ensuring accurate forecasts, timely procurement, and efficient delivery of products. This role bridges sales, buying, logistics, and warehouse teams to maintain optimal inventory levels and meet customer expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Extract and consolidate sales forecasts for commercial products and review them with the sales department.
• Prepare and present long‑term planning to the commercial buying manager and issue RFQs to approved suppliers.
• Create purchase orders/contracts, follow up on release, and confirm delivery dates with suppliers.
• Coordinate delivery logistics with the warehouse and customs clearance teams.
• Generate bi‑weekly commercial planning reports and maintain accurate filing and record systems.
• Produce daily demand and supply availability reports, update MBR/DMR data, and monitor statistical forecasts for local markets.
• Track key performance indicators for finished‑goods availability and forecast accuracy, and issue monthly performance reports.
• Identify continuous‑improvement opportunities for planning processes and systems.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Supply Chain (preferred).
• 0‑2 years of relevant experience.
• Excellent communication skills in Arabic and English.
• Professional attitude, ability to multitask, and work independently.
• Strong customer‑service orientation.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with SAP ERP or equivalent system.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
