Surgical Equipment Manager – Saudi Arabia

About the role

Alcon is seeking a Surgical Equipment Manager to join its Sales & Sales Support organization in Saudi Arabia. You will act as a key liaison between Alcon and ophthalmic surgical customers, helping to drive adoption of the company’s surgical portfolio and ensuring exceptional service throughout the partnership.

Key responsibilities

• Manage strategic accounts and relationships within the ophthalmic surgical market.
• Drive sales growth and meet commercial targets for Alcon’s surgical equipment portfolio.
• Build and maintain relationships with surgeons, operating‑room teams, procurement departments and other stakeholders.
• Identify customer challenges and develop tailored solutions that support clinical and operational goals.
• Develop and execute account plans, customer development strategies and business‑development initiatives.
• Analyse market trends, competitor activity and customer insights to inform strategic decisions.
• Prepare, negotiate and manage commercial agreements and contracts.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams such as Sales, Marketing, Medical Affairs, Customer Service and Technical Support.
• Organise and support customer events, product demonstrations, workshops and educational programs.

Required profile

• Proven experience in managing strategic accounts within the medical‑device or ophthalmic sector.
• Strong understanding of hospital and surgical‑center procurement processes.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills with senior healthcare stakeholders.
• Ability to analyse market data and translate insights into actionable plans.
