System Administrator

About the role

Design, plan, implement, and maintain mission‑critical enterprise systems, ensuring optimal performance, security, and recovery procedures. Serve as a technical expert in system administration, recommending redesigns and providing high‑level support for seamless operations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day operations of FCMS host servers, monitoring performance, configuration, maintenance and repair.
• Maintain Windows, Linux and macOS systems, ensuring compatibility and efficiency.
• Upgrade, install and configure application software and server hardware, and build, test and maintain new servers as needed.
• Troubleshoot issues, lead problem‑solving efforts with vendors and support personnel, and provide root‑cause analysis for help‑desk tickets.
• Establish and manage user and email accounts, group policies, security permissions and print services.
• Monitor datacenter health, respond to hardware incidents and keep records of system downtime and inventory.
• Collaborate with the Fakeeh Care Solutions Delivery team to ensure high availability of mission‑critical resources.

Required profile

• 2‑3 years of experience in system administration or a related role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field.
• Excellent oral and written English; Arabic is preferred.
• Professional certifications such as MCSE, RHCE or CISSP are highly desirable.

• System administration for Windows, Linux and macOS operating systems.
• Installation, configuration and maintenance of server hardware and software.
• Network and system troubleshooting and root‑cause analysis.
• User account, email system and group‑policy management.
• Datacenter hardware maintenance and system performance monitoring.
• Knowledge of security permissions and backup/recovery procedures.
