Systems Engineer

About the role

Azeus Systems Limited is looking for a Systems Engineer to join its growing support team for Azeus Convene, a meeting and collaboration solution for Boards and Leadership Teams. The role involves designing and implementing secure system architectures, coordinating with systems administrators and project team members on system configuration, and keeping hardware and software cost-effective and efficient. Intensive on-the-job training and mentoring are provided.

Key responsibilities

• Set up servers with hardening and firewall policies between servers
• Implement Azeus applications in the cloud (AWS, Azure, KSA cloud, etc.) and lead their deployment on client premises
• Handle server and application software hardening and firewall policy setup
• Identify and analyse system integration problems, find root causes and take immediate remedial action
• Formulate and implement corrective and preventive actions, and recommend automation tools for recurring tasks
• Work on-call for support cases

Required profile

• Fast learner with excellent problem-solving skills
• Good organisation skills, able to work well under pressure and time constraints
• Flexible and able to adapt to changing shift schedules, including weekends, holidays and different time zones
• Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
