Tailor – Hotel Uniform Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a passionate and dynamic Tailor to join our housekeeping team at Rotana Hotels & Resorts. The role focuses on delivering high‑quality uniform tailoring and alterations for staff and guests, ensuring a professional appearance throughout the hotel.

Key responsibilities

• Measure, create and alter uniforms for new and existing employees.
• Perform basic alterations requested by guests.
• Notify the linen room supervisor when sewing supplies need replenishment.
• Repair and maintain uniforms for all hotel personnel.
• Maintain detailed daily work records.
• Convert discarded linen into usable items for re‑circulation.
• Organise and inventory all fabric materials.
• Keep the tailoring area clean and tidy.
• Carry out additional duties assigned by supervisors.

Required profile

• Friendly, caring and dedicated individual with strong cross‑cultural sensitivity.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, work under pressure and put in extra effort when needed.
• Enjoys working in a fast‑paced, multicultural environment.
• Good command of English is an advantage.
• Professional tailoring training and prior experience in a similar hotel role.
