Team Leader – Information Systems (Hotel IT)

About the role

Destination Hotels is seeking an experienced Team Leader – Information Systems to support the pre‑opening and ongoing operations of Hyatt Place AlUla. This role will ensure the hotel’s technology infrastructure runs smoothly, securely, and efficiently for both guests and staff.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily activities of the IT team and coordinate IT operations.
• Maintain servers, networks, hardware, and software to guarantee reliability and performance.
• Provide technical support to all hotel departments and resolve issues promptly.
• Monitor system security, perform backups, and implement cybersecurity measures.
• Oversee installation, configuration, and maintenance of computers, printers, telecommunication equipment, and network devices.
• Coordinate with vendors for maintenance, upgrades, and technical support.
• Maintain IT documentation, asset inventories, and ensure compliance with Hyatt IT standards.
• Support pre‑opening IT setup and operational readiness.

Required profile

• Previous experience in IT operations, preferably within hotels or hospitality.
• Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, networking, and operating systems.
• Familiarity with hotel technology systems and property management systems is an advantage.
• Excellent problem‑solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Fluent English, both written and spoken.
