Technical Construction Advisor - Logistics Facilities

About the role

Eram Talent is looking for a Technical Construction Advisor to join its Advisory Services team. You will give expert guidance to clients through the construction process, advising on best practices, technical specifications and regulatory compliance for institutional-grade logistics facilities. The commitment is 2-3 days per week over 12 months, with on-site work.

Key responsibilities

• Oversight and guidance throughout warehouse construction projects
• Technical review and recommendations during design and execution
• Advice on turnkey construction design, procurement and contracts
• Guidance on 3PL operator requirements and operational efficiencies
• Evaluate project plans, specifications and designs to spot issues and recommend improvements
• Conduct site visits to check progress and compliance with technical requirements
• Prepare technical reports and documentation to support project decisions

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field
• 15-20 years of experience designing and delivering institutional grade-A logistics facilities across EMEA and the GCC
• Experience with turnkey construction design and contract structures
• Previous exposure to major 3PL operators and their facility requirements
• Excellent communication, collaboration, problem-solving and attention to detail

Required skills

• Knowledge of utilities, infrastructure, sustainability initiatives and ESG compliance
• Familiarity with project management methodologies is an advantage
