Technical Manager - Infrastructure Delivery, Engineering & Quality

About the role

Surbana Jurong Group, a global urban, infrastructure and managed services consulting firm, is looking for experienced Technical Managers to support the engineering, construction oversight and quality management of major infrastructure and urban development projects. The role covers infrastructure delivery, technical design review, project quality assurance and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the technical delivery and supervision of infrastructure projects, including roads, bridges, tunnels, drainage channels and urban development programmes.
• Review and evaluate engineering studies, design submissions, drawings and technical documentation.
• Ensure engineering designs comply with design standards, technical specifications and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor project quality through inspections, testing, audits and quality assurance processes.
• Identify and manage non-conformances and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
• Review project processes and implement improvements to enhance delivery efficiency and quality.
• Support change management and continuous improvement across infrastructure projects.
• Coordinate with project teams and technical stakeholders on engineering and quality issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in infrastructure construction supervision, engineering design oversight, project quality management or related technical functions.
• Demonstrated experience in major infrastructure projects such as roads, bridges, tunnels, drainage or urban development programmes.
• Experience reviewing engineering studies and designs against applicable standards.
• Experience in project quality management, inspections, testing, audits and quality assurance.

Required skills

• Knowledge of quality management tools, non-conformance management and corrective action implementation.
• Experience improving project processes and supporting change management initiatives.
